Work load/year:
- 128 hours contact class time (CCT) [32 sessions x 4 hours/week] (English Law: Knowledge and Practice Skills) (Compulsory attendance)
- 192 hours guided independent study time (IST)
- 320 hours total study time (TST)
42 hours CCT (Third Language Training: French or German) (Compulsory attendance) (MALAGA ONLY)
18 hours ‘Speech and Drama’ workshops in English (MALAGA ONLY)

Fees:
2,900€ [VAT exempt: Art. 20 Uno 9º de la Ley 37/1992]:
2 classes trial period for Level 1 students
Payable in ONE instalment of 2.900€ on or before 3 October 2023
Payable in TWO instalments: 1,; 1.450€ on or before 3 October 2023; 1.450€ on or before 5. March 2024
Payable in FIVE instalments: 900,00€ (on or before 3 October 2023), 500,00€ (on or before 15 December 2023), 500,00€ (on or before 15 February 2024), 500,00€ (on or before 15 April 2024), and 500,00€ (on or before 15 June 2024),
or by prior individual arrangement.
Maximum annual increase of fees:
Up to and including Level 3: a maximum annual increase of 5%.
The price of ELS Level 4 is calculated with reference to the course taken:
- Approved English Law Adviser (A.ELA) ‘Institute of Paralegals (IoP) and Professional Paralegal Register (PPR) (Tier 3/4)
- Additional modules
- Preparation course for qualification as a solicitor
- F-1 Law Society of Ireland preparation course
- US Bar preparation course

Admission criteria

Maximum age for admission to Level 1: 21 years old before 31 December of year of entry
Evaluations and assessments:
Continuous assessment. There are no end of term or end of year exams. ELS classes are suspended temporarily during the Spanish University exam times.
